Kick
TrueAudit logs all member kick actions to ensure accountability and prevent stealth removals. Kicks are often less visible than bans, so logging them is especially important for audit clarity.
🛠️ What Happens When a Kick Occurs
When a member is kicked from the server, TrueAudit will:
Identify the kicked member (username + ID)
Log the moderator who performed the kick (based on the audit log)
Include the reason (if any)
Assign a unique Case ID
Post a clear summary in your configured mod channel
The bot checks the server’s audit log shortly after a member leaves to determine if a kick occurred — allowing it to distinguish kicks from voluntary leaves.
✅ Why This Is Useful
Because Discord doesn’t differentiate between a kick and a user leaving on their own in real time, these logs are crucial for:
Clarifying why a user left
Tracking unauthorized kicks
Holding moderators accountable
Admins reviewing /checkstaff
, /checkuser
, or /frequency
data will see kick actions listed alongside other moderation activity — fully attributed and timestamped.
📌 Notes
If no reason is recorded in the audit log, TrueAudit will flag it as No reason provided.
Only confirmed kicks are logged — normal user exits are ignored.
