  • 📥 Step 1: Set the Mod Channel
  • 🌍 Step 2: Set the Timezone
  1. Getting Started

Set the Basics

After adding TrueAudit to your server, there are two essential setup steps to complete:

  1. Set the Mod Channel (for audit logs)

  2. Set the Timezone (for accurate timestamps)

📥 Step 1: Set the Mod Channel

The mod channel is where TrueAudit will post all audit-related logs, such as bans, message deletions, role updates, and more.

🔧 Command

/setmodchannel <channel>

✅ Example

/setmodchannel #mod-logs

🔐 Requirements

  • You must have Administrator permissions.

  • The bot must have Send Messages and Embed Links permissions in the selected channel.

🌍 Step 2: Set the Timezone

Setting your server's timezone ensures that all logs and detection alerts use correct local timestamps.

🌐 Supported Format

  • America/New_York

  • Europe/London

  • Asia/Tokyo

You’ll get autocomplete suggestions while typing the timezone.

🔧 Command

/settimezone <region>

✅ Example

/settimezone America/Los_Angeles

Once set, all audit log entries and detection timestamps will align with your chosen timezone.
