Messages
TrueAudit keeps a detailed record of all major message-related actions and thread modifications. These events help maintain clarity around content moderation and channel organization.
๐๏ธ Message Deleted
When a message is deleted:
Logs the user who sent it
Captures the channel it was in
Includes the content of the deleted message (if available)
Assigns a Case ID
Sends a summary embed to the mod log channel
Even if no audit log entry is available, TrueAudit logs single deletions directly and reliably.
๐ฎ Bulk Message Delete
When a large number of messages are purged (manually or by bot):
Logs the channel where the deletion happened
Records the total number of messages deleted
Assigns a Case ID
Sends a concise summary to your mod log
This ensures mass deletions are never silent, even if the messages themselves are unrecoverable.
๐ Message Pin / ๐ Unpin
When a message is pinned or unpinned:
Tracks the channel affected
Identifies the moderator who performed the action
Logs the type of action (pin or unpin)
Assigns a Case ID
Posts a formatted embed to the mod log
Useful for keeping track of important messages being elevated or demoted without warning.
๐งต Thread Created / Updated / Deleted
Threads are tracked as part of your message ecosystem. TrueAudit logs:
The thread name and ID
The parent channel the thread belongs to
Who created, edited, or deleted it
Any changes (e.g. name, auto-archive, locked/unlocked)
Assigns a Case ID and sends a full embed to mod logs
